It doesn't work for me. Something about not having the right usbport.sys and not finding a valid sequence. HmHm... Maybe cause I'm on a RC of sp3.

Yeah it patches the .sys file afaik. Offsets probably wrong for sp3 rc.

Why would logitech not know all that and wait for Nexu to show us. It's all a sham I tell ya, all a sham.

It's actually old news. Just posted for convenience.

with a p4 3.2 processor if it would affect the 'smoothness' of the game

I run a amd64 3500+. I run at 2ms (500hz) polling latency, it doesn't "interrupt" cpu for urt too much that gets me fps jumps in 5v5 clanwars. But i remember trying this long time ago on a amd xp2400+, 1000hz polling was definitely noticeable causing fps jumps with ET (which is also cpu intensive).

I found a way to patch for sp3 rc. Set it 500. My mouse (mx510) now does 450 according to the mouse rate reader. I'm not sure I'm noticing a difference though. Ah well, it can't hurt (I guess).

What dpi do you use woek? I'm using a G5 @ 2000dpi with super low sensitivity in game and running @ 500mhz makes a huge difference for me. Heads are becoming my playthings. :D

it's more noticeable for low sensitivity players (people who moves larger distances with their mouse and need a large mouse pad)

How do I know my DPI? Can I set that too? I guess it's fixed for the Mx510 to a certain value.

Ahh yeah that one is 800 dpi. I tell you, it's quite a chore to get things set up for 2000dpi in urt!

I don't think I have that for my MX518. What mouse are you using?
