Hi

I've been trying out gtkradiant 4 a while now, and i've been working on a little jumpmap 4 about 4 days now. Just whonted to post some screenshoots and see what u all think about it :D

For jump maps, people's standards for quality are pretty low. I mean, just take a look at some of the crappy jump maps on our wTf Non-Icy Jump Zone!

That being said, your map fits right in!

@OP, looks interesting. if you want a hand with textures or lighting, ask. There are loads of people who will help you to make it a bit more interesting.

Also if you want textures, try Keres and TRaK's map texture packs, they are a good place to start.

I know it's not looking wery good yet. I'm working on the lightning and with better textures.I'm pretty new at maping and this is some of my first work.

Thats why I am going to change I think all of my maps rambetter I will make now for example ut4_lotr_beta, beta2 and when I will know that map is perfect I will do something new ut4_lotr_final

Nice. Im back in april or september for a jump, so you have enough time to make a beta -)

One thing!
Vivaldi sayd it often, jumpmaps are for jumps. Realism/texture are of minor importance. Make good jumps and it will be played. 2 or 3 weeks ago i finished deleetedjumps, there was one damm ramp-jump i could not do... grrrr.... Good jumps, boring environment. But the map is sooo gooood !!
