Hi,

I've just today downloaded and installed Urban Terror with a server on a local network. I think the game is utterly brilliant. I have clients running fine against my server on Windows XP, Fedora 12 and Ubuntu 9.10 (all i386). However, I have a Fedora 12 x86_64 Core 2 Duo box which won't start Urban Terror client. The log is pasted below. It looks very much to me like I have the problem outlined here on the Quake Live forum. My problem is that you can only download the patch library (strcpy.zip) if you are registered on the forum - and registration is disabled (I can't even post to ask someone to make it available).

Does anyone have this file or is able to get it? Is there any other fix for the strcpy problem?

Kind regards,
Madeye

MUAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!! That works great! Now I shall show my kids who keep kicking my ass the advantage of a higher frame rate!

This is an issue with 64-bit UrT on Intel processors with Fedora Core 12 and UrT. A
patch to the code is available here:

http://bugzilla.iccu...bug.cgi?id=4331

If anyone needs a compiled binary drop me a line.
