Hey Guys,

I got a question about binding my mouse button 4 and 5. I've got the Mouse "Razer DeathAdder". So I want to crouch with my Mouse button 4 or 5. I allready tried it with ingame Escape Controls Mouve and then click next to Crouch with the 4th or 5th Mouse button. There nothing happens ..
Maybe this Screenshot gives you a little overview :
If someone with experience wanna try out something I am open for Teamviewer ;)

I hope someone will know it and help :P

try to emulate another key with it, if this ísnt possible with ur programm try X-mouse button control, what im using.
there you simply type wich key or action should be emulated and ure done
I have one button f13 and one f14 since i dont have f13 and 14 ;)

I was using PGUP and PGDN for the side-wheel buttons [mouse4 and 5 are taken care of by recent ioq3 versions I'm using].


wait a second, do you mean razers don't have 'side wheel buttons'? my disdain for the 'fluorescent bleep bleep buy me i have shiny colors' company continues.

Grab the optimized build from Mitsubishi and use that to play UrbanTerror. You will be able to bind those button 4 + 5 in UrT without hassle (aslong you leave them assigned in the mouse panel).

Hi there,

I also have a DeathAdder, you can set the controls on the Razer Customizer

I have Razer buttons 4 & 5 (single keys) bound to game controls c & 6

In my autoexec.cfg

bind c "+movedown" // Holding mouse 4 keeps me crouched until release

bind 6 "ut_itemdrop flag" //Drop flag - Which I'll probably change again

On that note - you may need to add the following to get it to work

seta in_mouse "-1"

This should work as I have no issues with all Death Adder buttons using the default urt and Razer app/drivers

P.S. You can turn off the glowing stuff in the customizer - (I dont like it either - lol)

Hey guys ..
shame on me I was inactive for some weeks.
When i came back my bind for this Mouse 4+5 were away and if I copied this again into my cfg it doesn't helped :(
It would be nice if you can help me again.

Many thanks for that thread, helped me immediately getting my things fixed.

I was using my DeathAdder for over a year now but I'm usually not fond of installing Software for such devices which are supposed to "just work". However that I couldn't use 4th and 5th mouse button was a show stopper, after I re-thought my strategy how the empower that game for me :-)

Anyway, I choose advanced for 4th/5th button and selected PgUp/PgDown and it works nicely with UrT. Many thanks to all your contributions here.
