Maybe it is a mobile application. Its technology is at the right time to be 'new' in phones.

Yes you are right, my post was more a reply to Solitary.

Aye the iPhone / iPad variation is called Rage HD

And according to the ID Software website, there's two versions for this game:

Available Versions:
SD: iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4, iPod touch 2-4, iPad
HD: iPhone 3GS & 4, iPod touch 4, iPad

And to answer you about:

I know that too, and that's the real reason behind my answer to solitary's post. See, ID Software sell this game "Rage" with the tag "HD" because of on these platforms (iPad/iPhone,iPod) it's really an HD game, pure marketing (and logical) way, and in the same time, Frozen Sand tagged "HD" the next release of Urban Terror in a pure ironical and assumed self-mockery way, wich makes the name "Urban Terror HD" really funny and reffering to what the "true" community of UrT players appreciate the most, gameplay more than graphics, fun over realism and so on. Smart move from FS (imho).

Long Live Urban Terror HD

First of all, you have my gratitude for turning Urban terror 4.2 back into condensation ware, and I am really pumped to see what FS comes up with.
To those who complain that their computers can barely handle it as it is, what on earth are you running? You can buy a triple core processor, decent video card, 4 GB's DDR3, and a mobo for ~350 dollars online now, I would rather see FS try to make the best game they can, instead of being restricted by people who have not upgraded in ten years.
As for the name change, it seems like a lot of people get acronyms for unreal tournament and urban terror messed up, and a bigger change than .1 to reflect all the new features is a good idea. However "urban terror HD"? really? its not horrible, but I don't think a lot of people are actually going to USE it, which makes it kind of pointless. Urban terror: Evolution makes me think of a cheesy action movie, adrenalin rush, etc, which is EXACTLY the kind of feeling a FPS should have. it also reflects the major improvements you are making in this version.
Also, I don't mind paying for it. If FS makes money off of the project, it reasonably seems that they will spend more time improving it, which nearly always makes for a better game.

Are we going to have to re-download all of this?

Sending a letter to Santa is as traditional as leaving him milk and cookies on Christmas Eve. Santa is a busy man come Christmas time. Writing him a letter, in addition to paying him a visit, is a great way to make sure he remembers the gifts at the top of your wish list.
