Alpha3:

↑ download here! ↑

My map supports:
Free for All - Team Deathmatch - Team Survivor
Capture and hold - Capture the flag - Bomb Mode

Spawns:
40 Spawns for Free for All
25 Spawns per Team for every Team-mode

It took 4 weeks to release the first Version. And more than 100 hours of work. And I love the result! I hope you will like it too!
Feel free to put this Map to your own Server. =)

Download it and enjoy :D

And this is like the map looks in "Metroid Prime Hunters" and "Urban Terror":

nice arcade map ^^
seems to go smoothly even if it says 26 fps (that would be very low)... does that really go 26 fps or it's broken

You want to stay close to original map? Because otherwise you should add some geometries in the open areas (the plan at 00:19, the upward at 00:35, the rounded part at 01:00) like rocks, crates, columns, etc. where you can hide during the battle, in that way you mix long rage fight with mid range, otherwise like it is now it's mainly a sr-8 map where you can't do 10 steps without being shot from 2 miles.

go on with this :)

I wanted to make an exact copy of the orginal. and if I get the funstuff working I will add the Head of the Hunters as Funstuff.
and if i have time I will make the extended version. idk atm what its called in english (Ratsaal in german). It is bigger and has much much mor camps :)

And no I don't go at 26 FPS. When im on a devmap EVERY map is at 26 fps :)

Noobdesign, I noticed that you've read something about game-play xD. But this map might not be only good for snipers and campers but it will also be playable for the stealth players, if you really want to make this map fun. Than you've to add like noobdesign said, some stuff for cover. You already did that at the edge of the map. But not in "the open field" at the middle of the map and that effects the rushers & cqb-players, they're getting backraped over and over again.
~ Cheers

ahah, yes i've just read a great article
Vanille, i understand you want to make exact copy, but remember that UT doesn't have the same weapons\items of Metroid, so if the map was great on Metroid (i dunno, never played it) this doesn't mean will be fun in UT also...

maybe you should split the project: the exact copy and the UT modified

That's cool, and it looks great. I think what noobdesign is saying is that if you don't compromise or adapt to UT then you'll have a map that looks exactly faithful, but *might* be flawed and hence unplayed.

Keep up the good work though. I've never heard of the original game - don't know whether I should have.
