there is a player out there who has been connecting to servers and flooding them with over 100 connections from the same ip with randomized names. see screenshot below:

if he is allowed the time then he will connect over 400 times:

he's attacked the oK servers as well as my kJ servers.

hes' been banned with these ip's already. thought id give everyone a heads up

Okie same hacker hacked Our servers also

the ip was this 99.130.178.187

I don't see how that is even remotely funny.
This guy is attacking servers people pay for. My own clan (WC) has experienced this attack too and we don't find it funny one bit.

i am glad i was free today... i was able to evade him 4 times. :blink:

This happened to my server (France) & also the ReflexX server I was playing on when it happened.

But as shown in Ripper's screenshot, the ping comes up as CNCT - Certified Network Computer Technician... What's up with that? oO

he hit the BitchNipples CTF server this morning about 2AM but this is a weak attack at best. This is an old program and it was easy enough to get stopped

There is no way around this unfortunately. You just have to have diligent admins to block the connecting IP. I thought the PING was CNCT because the client was connecting and the server wasn't calculating the ping until the connection is complete. With his clients not actually connecting just using a spot it never displays a ping and they client eventually times out. A good range ban will stop him until he changes IP's again. A feature to auto block connections from the same IP for more than 1 client would be handy!!!! Optional of course.
