Hi Mappers and Jumpers
Pickles, Driller and I, are very happy to announce on behalf of the UrTJumpers and Custom Map Makers communities the UJ/CMM 2012 jump mapping contest.
The contest will begin on the 19th of January at which date the theme of the contest will be announced.
Contest's rules and details.
Mappers, we are looking forward seeing your work.
Jumpers, it is time to harass your favorite mappers into participating to this contest :)

I didn't know if I was allowed to enter because of my close association with CMM and the organisers?

The organisation likes to see many contestors: Now we already have 11 mappers who join!
Some jumpmappers, but also (frag)mappers who havent made a jumpmap before and cant jump at all!
The list of competitors/participant is on urtjumpers.
Doesnt matter if you are a beginner (well, the basics you need to know) or if you cant jump at all. Very likely you wont win the contest, but you have a lot of fun in 2 months and you learn mapping and networking...

It will be fun! Especailly when you think of the working out of the theme
Contest will be hold on the urtjumpers website, there is some support at the cmm website.
Posting the theme here is not of any use, because you cant join anymore when the theme is announced.
I will post in this topic the results and the final map(s) ofcourse, but nothing during the contest, the contest is not organised or supported by urt.info or FS. Only relation is that Levant from FS is a contestant.
8 jumps is the max, but read here at the end of the first post : http://www.urtjumper...ic.php?id=1176.
(Depends on how you count and from which perspective, you can make more jumps. But its about 6 to 8 good jumps)
