EDIT: This, plus the issue with auth, was caused by the game loading every single renamed PK3 in addition to the proper ones — I have backups of all files in older versions, named zUrT42_0008.pk3-001 etc. Moving them into a separate folder fixed all the issues (except for the crash when joining a team on local server).
