Whenever I exec my bot.cfg, which has
addbot boa 5 blue
addbot cheetah 5 blue
addbot chicken 5 blue
addbot cobra 5 blue
addbot cockroach 5 blue
addbot cougar 5 blue
addbot goose 5 blue
addbot mantis 5 blue
addbot penguin 5 red
addbot puma 5 red
addbot python 5 red
addbot raven 5 red
addbot scarab 5 red
addbot scorpion 5 red
addbot tiger 5 red
addbot widow 5 red

it says unknown cmd addbot.
I tried it in 4.2.0009 before and it worked perfectly.
Is it because this is on my own server? (It's a local server LAN)

If it's an Server in LAN (not on your Local Maschine) then you need to use:

rcon addbot

After rconlogin with

rconpassword YOURRCONPASSWORDforthisserver

But this it still work to add more then one Bot same Time? I have a very simmiliar Script for adding 3 Bots on my Server, but every time i use it only 1 Bot is added.

I have the same problem. I am using a 4.2 dedicated server and I have already worked out to use "rcon addbot", but it only adds the first one and ignores the rest. I have bots.conf as follows:

rcon addbot Scarab 3 Blue 50 Herp
rcon addbot Cobra 4 Blue 45 Derp
rcon addbot Penguin 3 Blue 89 Perp

/exec bots.cfg

I get a Herp, but no Derp or Perp

I have tried rcon on first line only, tried quotes, even tried \n\r line separators in case it is a weird Windows thing, but nothing seems to work :-(

I am using vim on linux to create the file BTW

Any suggestion appreciated

Your issue is that you probably execute this command on your client instead of the server, and servers have flood protection on rcon commands sent from clients. The first command is sent correctly but the others are ignored by the server because they were sent too soon.

If you run a dedicated server then put the bots.cfg file in the q3ut4 folder of your server. Remove the "rcon" prefix from all the lines in your file. Then open your client, connect to your server and write:

/rconpassword your_rcon_password
/rcon exec bots

-- or --
ssh to your server, open the urt server's console and write:

exec bots
