tried 2 times and both time got corruption error with new updater

Like me, when we update engine.

EDIT : after 4 try, it's ok.
server are all in private class... We need to show private servers for find all.

AWESOME!!! Nice idea to have also the old skins back.
Can't wait for new stuff you have in mind.

On small issue: I dont like some of the dead sequence looks like break dance.
Never see this on previous version of 4.2. Looks strange in my mind. May I send a demo / video of that?

hi,

very nice update.

I also had to restart the update process multiple times, because of the corruption eror. But it worked after the 6th or 8th attempt? Don't remember lol. Could this be due to Downloadserver(load)problems maybee?

But the game runs fine and more smoothly than the previous version.I like the new texture sets very much. played a couple of minutes and if you get used to it - its a whole new experience :-). The Animations look more polished and the new clock sounds are awesome!

Don't know if you aware of this, but if you define custom colorshemes for the teams, the colored names in the kill messages change accordingly but the in the chat they are still displayed only in blue or red.

Definitly a milestone! Keep up the good work! ( Would be nice though, if you could transform those one colored shiny gold things with represent the negev ammo into real bullets(+shell casing) :)

Very nice. I'm looking forward to the performance increase. I had pretty bad fps drops with a pretty good pc (although it's linux + amd graphics card). I mean this game should run like 1k+ fps if compared to q3a. ;)
The skins looks nice too and I love an ignore function. Keep it going. :D

Minor issue with the updater: when a downloaded PK3 turns out to be broken and the updater starts downloading it again, the progress is still incremented — when downloading zpak0006.pk3 for the third time, the progress was shown as “(3 / 10)”.

Death animations are more hilarious than ever before — not sure that’s what you were aiming for… Minor issue with pistols and knife: when crouching, the hold switches back to the .009 rifle-style hold. Also, Beretta reload in third person is too slow.

And yes, if you have the Private filter set to No in the server browser, only private servers are shown, the exact same behavior the web list has suffered from since forever. I was rather perplexed when every single server I tried to connect to chided me for “invalid password”.

why do arm's get hit so much more in 4.2.010 than in 4.1? I'm guessing it's because the models hold the gun differently so the arms are infront of the torso, but shouldn't that still register as a torso? Also the animations are still holding 4.2 back.

Noticed similar behavior, but found it is actually running fine.
All the already downloaded files are moved to q3ut4 folder, only the not fully/properly finished one is being deleted.
Upon restart/resuming, updater is counting numbers in regards to "remaining" for the session. At first run you had 1/27, downloaded 17 files, and upon restarting (and dl'ing 2 files) the updater got you into downloading the third out of remaining 10...
