When the updater fails, you can always download a full zip.

Nevertheless, that error should not be happening. Did this happen today ?

Hey,

It happened today and many days before, I cannot update Urban Terror, I even downloaded the full .zip file and ran the updater just to find the error message "Info from the API are not valid."

Having same problem with Updater (API... bla bla bla) for a bit more than a week.
Last night, I downloaded and reinstalled the Updater zip file and the FULL.ZIP, ... nothing is working... not the Updater AND when I log in the game, the server list is empty...

Once you downloaded the full zip, you don't need to deal with the updater at all. To launch the game just use the client binary (Quake3-UrT.exe if you are on windows).

The server list not showing up is an other issue. We are on it. A quick fix is to write the following line in your console: /cl_master master2.urbanterror.info

Regarding the API bug, the issue is due to our recent server migrations. We're on it too.

The issue with the Updater should be fixed now. Please do not hesitate to alert us in case you're still having issues downloading the game.

We're looking into the issue with the master server. We'll give an update once it's resolved.
