Quake3-UrT.exe crash with update 4.2.13 Rate Topic: -----

I updated UrT = ok ; but when i launch the Quake3-UrT.exe, it crash everytime :/
I tried manytimes to update to resolve this problem, and downloaded the fullpackage but nothing.
UrT 4.2.12 run perfectly.
I tried q3config of 4.2.12 and without q3config but everytime crash.
I haven't log in urt folder, just a windows log.

Does the .012 client work?

To have the game write a log (qconsole.log), add seta logfile "2" in your q3config.cfg or autoexec.cfg.

I paste my 012 client in 013 folder and the game started and i could play very well.
So the quake3-urt.exe from 013 doesnt works on my pc :/

quake3-urt.exe from 4.2.12 = 2.26 Mo
quake3-urt.exe from 4.2.13 = 1.80 Mo

Should i continue to play with client012 ?

Please try my client which is very similar to 4.2.013 and see if it crashes. Link in my signature image.

EDIT: I think I know the problem. What processor do you have? Does it support MMX, SSE and SSE2?

I have an old CPU, AMD athlon 2600+ 2 Ghz (2002) : CPU AMD Athlon 2600+

With the 013 client, i configure the news cvars :
- seta com_singlecore "0"
- seta com_processpriority "0"
But crashed too.
!
The downloads below are for 4.2.011/012 !!(not for 4.2.013)!!

Your CPU does not support SSE2, so use the second one (non optimized)
I will compile a version for people with these types of processors.

My build is very similar to the 013 build. It has all the features listed in the first post from where you downloaded.
I think FS should compile without SSE2 optimizations or give an alternate for people with older processors.

I have a problem with raw mouse.
I configure in_mouse 2, restart urt, but mouse5, aux1 etc... doesn't works.
Due to your exe ?

Well, the RAW mouse code was done by me too so for sure it is not due to my exe :tongue:

What Windows do you have?

When you are in game, open the console and write /in_mouse and see what the value is while in game.
Also enable the log again (as seen before) and check if you have errors initializing RAW mouse. When that happens, it will revert to Win32 mouse support which is pathetic.
