4.2.018 - 2nd Flag taken sound not working properly Rate Topic: -----

CTF Mode: when 2nd flag is taken, the sound is not played

Hi,

I am facing a problem since 4.2.017 and now as well in 4.2.0.18 in CTF Mode:

The second flag taken sound is not played properly.

Initial situation:
- For best reproducibility, connect with at least 3 players to a CTF server.
- Players join blue and red team
- Blue player takes red flag -> flag taken sound played
- Red player takes the blue flag lets say 3 or 4 seconds later, and then there is no "flag taken" sound played, it is just silent, very annoying.

Bug:
With more than 2 players on a CTF server, this issue occurs more often.
In 80% of the cases, the second flag taken sound is not played properly.

This is happening to me too - if you take the other flag within a couple of seconds of playing you will not hear the second sound.

this was happening in .017 also

no this is not in a couple of second but the whole time of the game, in public mode and match mode

There is a bug with the sound when you catch the second flag while the first is already catched.

i.e. The blue team have catched the red flag the sound is ok, but if the red team have catched the blue flag while the blue team have the red flag, there is no sound.
so the blue team have onlly the text as notification when their flag is gone

yes, I meant within a couple of seconds of the other flag being taken, my apologies for the confusion.

Ok you meant the time between two flag taken !
We will test it with my team asap, in a hard match it's an annoying bug for the flag carrier, but it add a new role to the defence and to the middle :)

yesterday we have played on our public server, and 3 cw on the CFG team server, and we have notice the problem too.

You can believe me, there is reason why I raised a defect here :)
And as mentioned above, it is easy reproducable.
