Hey ho people,
I got an idea for Urban Terror, which wouldn't be a big difference, if it would be implemented.
It'd be nice if you could shoot flying nades and if you hit, the nade explodes. But it should be very hard to hit it,
therefore the hitbox for the nade should be very small.
It wouldn't have a big use for tha game or tactic, but I think it would be kinda funny :)

hm. cool idea. would be a nice "gamemode", like skeetshooting with nades.
or Russian roulette. you throw a nade up and try to hit it. if you do you are fine, if you don't you "set on your own grenade" xP

just wondering about the computation time needed for that.... i mean it would be a goddamn fast moving hitbox..... ?

Might be too easy to do with autos.

You should be able to detonate it the moment it's in their hand.
I'd love to be able shoot the nade before it's even thrown.

While this would for sure happen more randomly than intentionally, nades are a random enough factor and "free-kill" that adding even more danger to using them than just being unarmed for a sec would be great.


...if FF is off and a different team than the person who threw the nade shoots it, who's team does the nade harm?

It's silly, but I love it.

lol I've been thinking about suggesting this recently, so yeah F1.
Though what I was thinking about was a bit different: Hitting it would change it's trajectory, not the time at which it goes off. Probably more difficult to code too.

Assuming it doesn't impact performance (I can imagine it would have a big negative impact, but I can also imagine it having no additional impact at all), I would love to see this added to the game :biggrin:

add HP to the nade in a way that it should require at least 2 shots from weaker bullet/gun
