Dubstepish Epic

Gives it a post-modern yet serious feel.

Nothing beats the original.

Since Unreal Terror is now becoming reality:
Unreal Tournament “Save Me”

(WTF, two-video limit per post?)

State of Mind “Mindslicer”

Psyborg Corp “Bionic Enhancement”

Asphyxia “Painful Process”

I listened to Mt. Eden a lot when I was learning mapping on decompiled ut_streets and this always evokes the mythic epic past of UrT for me:
Mt. Eden “The Streets”

Beginner’s Guide to Urban Terror (woefully out of date)

I can't think of any specific song but i wanna try to express it with words..

If Urban Terror had a sound track, what would it sound like?

It would sound free and open, like you were on top of the world and the city were your playground, much like the music in Mirror's Edge but with a little bit more depth and darkness in it. It is your playground but with constant fear and danger. You are not alone, you are chased.

Zircon is cool.

He does livestreams to teach aspiring music producers the basics, seems like an alright dude. A lot of his music sounds as though it could be a fit for UrT. This one kind of reminds me of the menu music :).

Also: I visualize like, a wave-CTF match played on tohunga, the music builds as the match first begins and players of both teams leave spawn to reach their spots. They are simultaneously introduced to one another on various parts of the map at once as they meet and engage. Relatively even, while one side may have a 1man advantage it's not enough to present a clear opportunity for either side to approach the flag. After a few more spawns, the two teams continue to clash as together they begin to receive a sense of how the match is going, developing a feel for what is possible, eagerly anticipating as tension rises... Then, (maybe this is the part of the song where the heavy beat and the synth comes) I visualize one team, all at once with the perfect timing swiftly executing a welll co-ordinated rush from various areas, demolishing the other side just as wave-timer resets, allowing for a well-earned first cap. Tensions rise as the match intensifies and the game is on! Each player engaged in the game, experiencing the core gameplay of Urban Terror and fighting in a high-performance all-out gridlock to gain map control and push in for the flag (which lasts for the duration of the match before both teams breathe a sigh of relief and flip sides before resuming play).

Idk.

I picture something like this when I think about people finding and coming online to Urban Terror. Like, in the beginning: each synth riff is like another person sitting at his computer and his face lights up and he's like "Urban Terror?"
