Thank you very much for the comments guys! Of course the grass is a place where players can go across, but there are reasons for making a path through the garden:

• Change texturing (if I make everything with a patio-like texture it's going to be monotonous and boring)
  
• Add some realism (people need a path to go through the garden usually, you can walk on grass, but...)

I think that probably I'm going to use both depending on how they work well with the environment. I'm still in time to change it after I make an alpha for you to try though. :)

Sorry for being absent. I've been doing other things but I am getting back at working on my map and finish it soon.

Here's another screenshot of a tree and a bench. I'm not sure whether the bench is well-proportioned to the player.
