so im just moving to 4.2

ill be playing the game and everything is fine, the sounds seeem improved over 4.1, Until i get shot. then my character screams/moans SO LOUD it made my ears ring.

i dont know why, i dont have any issues like this in any of my other games, or in 4.1
if i turn the volume down low enough that the groans arnt deafening, than i cant hear footsteps or gunshots at all.
is there a setting somewhere to disable my own grunting? i really dont need to hear my self groan when im shot.
if i get time ill try to record a youtube video somehow.
i really hope someone has any idea on how to fix that.

I had some kind of 3d audio setting on my sound card that wanted to do that to me.
I don't remember what it was that fixed it (Which check box I unchecked), but it was on my sound card and not in Urban Terror for me.

maybe dmahd is active and not working properly or worse working properly..
if you don't like uptown, you are basically hating urban terror.

dmahd is supposed to be an improved sound system for urt, personally i think it's rather annyoing.. simply check your in-game sound settings, you should be able to turn it off there,

or just edit your q3config.cfg > set dmaHD_enable to zero ...

Could you actually please detail what kind of issues did you have?
Was it a true issue? Or did you just feel the sound was different and thought it could be a bug?
