Hello,

I would like to suggest that you open the sounds used in the menus, eventually by relocating them to the zpak009 along with the menu files. (kcaction.wav, menu2.wav)

Also, I'm sure the community could and would come up with awesome crosshairs if that too was to be opened.

Thanks for taking the time to answer :)

So you mean i can put an mp3 somewhere and it plays it as menu theme then? Would be awsome.

The music is most probably not going to be something we can change SilverFoxZ; copyrights and stuff you know, nobody's going to bother.

The sounds though, focus sound and action sound, could be open-sourced. Even if those two sounds are copyrighted as well, it wouldn't be too hard (actually isn't, I did it) to find or even record new ones.

BUT AGAIN, it seems you have to either say something stupid or be outrageous to get an answer in here.

The sounds and images do not all belong to FS (old SID members & more) so we can't open source them.
So you can't modify the current images or sounds, but you may propose new ones. Under the condition you have the permission to use them of course.

Yes to that.
What I mean is enable us to change those sounds. We need that for working on the menus.

I think what SilverFoxZ was asking is if he for example have purchased an album from Lady Gaga. He put Poker Face in a folder and it plays in the menu. Urban Terror would basically just act as a mp3 player.

Whoever owns the rights to the music, wouldn't care what application is used to play a track. Urban Terror, spotify, itunes, wmp, winamp. Doesn't matter.
