You have to bring the map into the new engine just like the abbey map of course its not going to look the same but the basic layout will be a proving ground if the new engine can give the same kind of game pace/play.

I know you can do it!

Than its going to be nice im sure!
Im just curios turnpike and nevada or on the east and west coast massive difference?

Nevada is a clone of Turnpike using the same layout but different visuals to avoid confusing the two.

Of course if a legacy mapper wants to make their map for HD we would be more than happy to take it off the rack but a 100% map conversion is tough with out the original working assets (.map file and source map objects as well texture resolution used are to low and fall apart and need to be upgraded to PBR.

As for map conversion in hand we have stewardship of a few of the more popular maps in the process of conversion and the original mapper will retain full credit as the map maker as well as level designer.


Do you think, now that he is back, will you modify the map to have the exact same layout, doors, cover and all? and will you call it Turnpike now, (with his blessing)?

Either way can't wait for urt hd to come out kinda bored with the blue arms and the yellow ball haha
