basically, because UrT menus dont work that way.
that is why you need that extra .crosshair file

Would love to have my custom UI load on disconnecting from servers. Not sure if its possible but excluding the UI from sv_pure would be very nice. Although I guess that could possibly lead to some location to store cheats? IDK im not up on how the UI is loaded and how it could be exploited. :P

there actually is a cvar that stores the menus to load, so technically you COULD already do that. it doesnt work though... :S
excluding /ui/*.menu would be a really nice thing though, and i currently cant see a way to exploit that. like, the black cricle around the scopes isnt added via a .menu file so the worst thing you could do would be recoloring the scoreboard i suppose.... :)
