[RC] UrT 4.3 Release Candidate 3

Release Candidate!
The Release Candidate #3 of the upcoming release Urban Terror 4.3 is now available for download (links at the bottom of this post).
This RC is an experimental build, potentially unstable and buggy, which is still under heavy development and that is not fully tested. It is NOT meant to be used in competitions and leagues. Please read more in the Welcome thread.
The server VM is NOT included in this Release Candidate. It means that you WILL NOT be able to launch a server and you also cannot play locally (with /map and /devmap). We do this on purpose so please do not ask for it.
If you find bugs in this Release Candidate please report them on our Github issues tracker.
All suggestions and comments are welcome. Please do not hesitate to create a new thread in this forum.
4.3.0 Changelog
• New gametype: Gun Game (g_gametype 11)
• New game mode: Instagib (affects all gametypes with the cvar g_instagib 1|0 (1=on, 0=off))
• New gear menus
• New weapons: FR-F1, P90, Magnum, Benelli
• Unlocked sv_fps and snaps (range: 20 - 125, default: 60)
• Updated AK103 bullet description
• Added kill assists in team gametypes
• Added silent ladder walking (hold your walk key while climbing ladders)
• Hid the "ut4_" prefix in the server list for map names
• Adjusted weapon/item drop velocities (they drop towards where you aim rather than from your groin all the time)

• Added movement keypress overlay: cg_drawKeys (1 - visible only when in spectator, 2 - always visible)

• Tweaked the P90: less damage, more accuracy
• Disabled the countdown sound by default

I dont see this equation holding true for all cases:
Assuming 4.1 being good, and 4.1>4.2 (which also is rather subjective and does not hold in general), this does not imply 4.2 being shitty in general.
Anyways.
I still dont see the frf1 being of use. Without a significant buff to its dmg (and the ability to add a scilencer) it is a lower damage sr8. (Judging form rc2 experience and the release notes)

fun fact: the main pk3 file is named zUrT42_PACK_RC3.pk3 . which is probably wrong :P

I thought I submitted this post already, but apparently I didn't press post or something...
I think I'm getting old. : >
Never the less, this is great, and I'm looking forward to testing it tomorrow and in the weekend.
I personally have one gamebreaking bug though, that I think is too specific to my setup to be put onto GitHub. My old desktop, that I've played 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3rc2 on without any problems, isn't able to open the Quake3-UrT.exe file. Opening it actually even freezes up my File Explorer window. The MD5 checksum is correct, and my laptop has no problems starting the game. What information would be of value to you?

Hmm, weird... So starting the game as you asked worked fine, making it obvious that it's File Explorer that froze and couldn't start the game. It might have to do with an old slow computer first asking me to trust the lack of certificate.
Even more weirdly starting the game with the console fixed File Explorer choking at the next attempt. . .
