With this setup you should have 125 fps alway's even on a 32 players server that is full.

Unfortunately not, as you say, my friend.

I wonder how I will fix this problem.

Truth is, you can have as much computational power as you like, you will still not have max fps on 32 player servers. the engine basically peaks at 16 players. :|

Next question would be, if you have experienced those problems to happen on other servers/maps?
I actually have random fps drops sometimes as well, but thats on eagle with about 30 players.
Also your connection to the server doesnt appear to be the best (red spikes, and a ping of ~180), which can cause FPS drops as well.
Sorry for my bad spelling - I am still asleep. :)

Please this is simply not true.

Like you suspect and as killspree awnsered you should have SOLID 125 fps even on 32 slot servers.

Turn off all anti aliasing etc... and try again :)

I also tried the original setting does not change the result.

I use it as a screen resolution of 1280x1024. 1920x1080 also become more and more falling.

It should work fine at 1920x1080 also.

What Windows version? 32bit or 64bit?
Do you have any other processes running that could be screwing with the fps?
Is your gpu or cpu throttling due to heat, could be dirty or broken fan or cooler.

Monitor both cpu and gpu for clock speeds whilst playing, your going to have to play windowed.
Cpu should reach 100% on 1 core, if it can't hold turbo speed on 1 core you have a heat problem or is set in some sort of powersave mode.

Gpu should set itself at max clock and be able to hold it also.

I can play with at 2560x1440 with a solid 125 with no problems in 4.1, but I can drop sometimes as low as 32FPS in 4.2.

Once I found this:
http://www.urbanterr...-urt-42-client/
I no longer have any drops at all.

With this optimized build there is a setting \sys_microgranulation which I set to "0" otherwise the game looks and runs smooth at 125fps, but the players are all strobe blinky like 45fps.

Nihilist,
A few questions: what graphics card are you running?
Why is there no windows 64bit build?
Are there any benefits from 1440p

I normally play with linux and only test on win and mac.
4790k, gtx980, 1920x1080 64bit ubuntu 14.04, stock 64bit engine

I have a GTX680.
I have a monitor that can push 2560x1440 @ 100hz, so I use that setting.
I played in a standard 4:3 resolution CRT for a very long time until I got a monitor that was fast enough to play this way. Only been about a year now.
I like the highest resolution I can run well almost exclusively for the tiny size of the "dot" scope crosshair. Resolution makes absolutely no impact on my performance/FPS with this card.
I can crank DSR to get my resolution up to 5120x2880 as well as drop down to 640x480 with no change in performance. Drops are exactly the same.
It does look better at higher resolutions and I get less flickering, but Q3 Urban Terror is ugly no matter what resolution. I use what runs the best.

I get just slightly better playing consistency (players are where they appear to be, timing is more consistent) with the default Quake3-UrT.exe, but the FPS drops on certain maps like cascade and uptown make it extremely difficult.
If I know the server I'm going to play on is only going to be running butter-smooth maps, I'll run the default.exe
If there's a chance we'll be on a low FPS map I run r00t_v0.4b1_x86.exe and get consistent FPS.
It seems to drop based on how many players are on the server as well as the map. 6v6 Uptown is fine with the default.exe, as is 15v15 on Riyadh.
15v15 on Uptown is 125 or 32FPS depending on the direction I face, unless I run r00t's build.

I don't know about a 64bit build. I haven't had a 64bit OS for very long.

Win7 64bit here

EVGA Classified SR-2
Xeon L5640 X2 (12 cores, 24 threads) 2.28GHz
48Gigs of RAM
GTX680 X1
