Dear all,

I have well understood that bots are not officially supported in Urban terror (read in http://www.urbanterr.../188-game-bots/).

But I would like to play with my kids and even if they are 2, playing against them would be unfair ;-)

Is it normal that my server answers: "Unknown command: addbot"?

to explain this a little further:
when you type something into your console, it gets executed on your client. Thats why \addbot works when you did e.g. \map before.

However, if you start a (dedicated) server, either via the *-Ded* executable or via the ingame menu, it starts the server as a different process. As a result, if you connect to it, you arent "logged in" to its console. theres where [i]\rcon[\i] comes it. what it does is simply relay the following command(s) to the server, so they get executed there instead of locally.
