hi again
When doing fog I do not understand why the fog is "spreading" on all the func_breakable and models the fog touch.
Imagine a room filled with 2 feets of fog, this fog pass across a func_breakable or a models but the models or the func_breakable is higher than the fog bottom beginning in the fog but upper part over the fog. Each time the models/func_xxx is completly covered with the fog effects !
help !

Fog can only have 1 visible side, the 5 others have to be flush against structural brushes.
From shader manual.
if you want a room with more than one enterance and fog on the ground, you will have to have the doors into the room above the fog, then have some steps down into the fog.
eg. Side on view.

If a water texture contains a fog parameter, it must be treated as if it were a fog texture when in use.- If a room is to be filled completely with a fog volume, it can only be entered through one surface (and still have the fog function correctly).
- Additional shader passes may be placed on a fog brush, as with other brushes.

k. ty for that $null. I will try to change the map to do as you suggest for the fog in room.
But does it means there is no way to make a water with fog with a boat model in it ? The bottom of the boat is in the water/fog and the upper part above the water... each time i use a fog in that case the boat is completly cover with fog ... Any idea ?
