Welcome to Urban Terror
Urban Terror™ is a free multiplayer first person shooter developed by FrozenSand, that (thanks to the ioquake3-code) does not require Quake III Arena anymore. It is available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh. The current version is 4.2.Urban Terror can be described as a Hollywood tactical shooter; somewhat realism based, but the motto is "fun over realism". This results in a very unique, enjoyable and addictive game.

Forum temporarily down

Yesterday we experienced a server crash which has corrupted the public forums database table POSTS.
As a result, the forums are down and could be down for some days.
Naturally, we are working hard to repair them.
The forum will get back online as soon as possible !

Clanbase Summer Cup 2013

Clanbase has announced its SummerCup 2013 Season !
There are many different cups you can signup for; Jump - 1v1 - 2v2 - 5v5 TDM and 5v5 TS/CTF/BOMB.
The signups close June 30th.

Knock Out: round 3
in Leagues - posted 14 days ago by FrozenSandAfter a break of two months Urban Zone held its third KNOCKOUT event last Sunday. It was close until the dying seconds of the final map, but in the end KrathOs beat off crimson and reigning champion shans to become the latest knockout champion !

Word has also reached us of another knockout initiative from Poland. M4tys from www.urban-terror.pl has opened the signups for an all Polish event which will be organized in stages. The best players of the preliminary matches will be invited to the grand final to crown a .pl KO champ !Signups are only open for a short time and close 05.06.2013 at 21:00 CEST.
So are you polish and do you want to battle it out vs some knockout veterans like KrathOs, fruk brejnless and szejdi? Signup here.
Maybe this will inspire other countries as well to organize a similar event and we can have the KNOCKOUT world cup sometime soon.

FrozenSand would like to welcome La$er to the team. He is an enthusiastic Urban Terror movie maker and will be making promotional movies for the team. You can view his work at his Youtube channel

Urban Arts Competition 2013
The competition is entirely managed by our new Dev Team member La$er, together with rlnqq on behalf of FrozenSand. It is the first time that they have organized this type of competition and they would appreciate if you are patient with them. They will try their best to make the entire contest as pleasant as possible for you. But just to make it clear we prefer a reasonable conversation instead of pointless whining. Always keep in your mind, the more you flame, the less you get.
