This tutorial will teach you how to make a ladder.
The Ladder Geometry
First we need to create some geometry to represent our ladder. You can make anything a ladder, but you should make sure that it is something that is obviously climbable. A ladder, a rope, a drain pipe, a plant, whatever. I'll leave the construction of this object up to you.This drain pipe was used as a ladder in the map ut4_railed:

Making it Climbable
Now you have finished the climbable object, make a brush that completely surrounds the object. Then texture the surrounding brush with urban_terror/ladderclip. This is all that you have to do. Now compile and enjoy your new ladder.Your final ladder should look something like this:
