I had the same mouse problem
Work with
seta in_mouse "-1"
seta in_rawmouse "1" // Use Raw Mouse Motion (High-Definition) and Raw Mouse Keys (Windows clients)
and
seta r_windowPosition "-10,-10"
seta r_noborder 1
seta r_centerWindow 1
and
do ctrl-enter to switch to full-screen / window-mode
I don't know if those cvar all work with this 4.2. Those are copied from my install of sacc_optimized 4.1.1

I think this variable "seta in_rawmouse" only exist in 4.1.1 or optimized build :/ Anyway i change the others cvars and don't work's.
Thanks :)

Im using Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity, works fine with Urt 4.1.1 but with 4.2 alt+tab function does not work properly. Im try going into windowed mode and back with the same result.
Yes i know, how many desktop's are in linux? (kde, xfce, unity, gnome, lxde and many others), and is imposible for FS test urt in all desktop environment's.
Anyway, thanks. :)

Not sure if this will work for unity but it works for me anyway on Gnome 3
When you go back into the game
1) press alt+enter to maximise the screen again
2) press alt+enter once more to bring the screen back to windowed mode
3) now press ~ to bring down the console - this should steal the mouse focus back
4) close the console and press alt+tab to go back into the game with proper mouse focus
Hope that works for you

Thank's for the help polgo, work's in this order for me:
1) press alt+enter
2) press ~
3) press alt+enter
Better than nothing, at least not since I have to close and reopen the game.
Thanks again ;)
