Which mapping editor?

Hey there,
I'd like to give mapping a go but I'm confused about all the editors...
I've heard about GTKradiant and something called netradiant and someone also told me about another radiant thing and the option to use a common 3D program.
So whats the best option for a beginner like me?
I got some experience with Cinema 4D, so I'd prefer something similar.
Also, I'm planning on doing a jumpmap, should that affect the choice of editor?
Hope for some

hah okay having a look at your channel explains your smile :D nice vids btw
It's probably gonna take me quite a while until I figure out how to use GTKradiant properly. Had a quick look at it earlier... confusing haha.
Why are you using 1.5, not the new version ?
