Do you remember Halflife 1? That Xen-World?
There were pits of water which healed you by time.
Such thing SHOULD be possible in the Q3-Engine, too (HL is Q2 ), but i dont know if it was hl-mod-dependend (added to the code by valve).
I tried to place a trigger_hurt with a dmg of -100 but it still hurts me. Are negative numbers ignored? The entity file reads: "dmg : number of points of damage inflicted to player per server frame (default 5 - integer values only)." - signed or unsigned int?
Anyone ever tried to create such a thing?
Or are there other func_*, trigger_* that can inflict damage (and that can be set to negative values)?
Could be useful for my jumpmaps

if this was possible it would have been done a long long time ago. just for laughs (if i could program bots) i would make a bot with a medkit that just stands still and heals anyone that touches it. seriously though, i wish they would make weapon/item entities for urt so you could make a map that had a sniper tower with an sr8 sitting in it, or a bunker with a medkit in it. then you could control the flow of a map more by enticing people to take that path to get a bonus item like kevlar or whatever. but none of thats going to happen. oh well
