I have been using a random loadout cfg recently to improve my game. i.e. I set up a small mac script that generates a random seven-digit string (with limitations to make sure it conforms to loadouts). It generates, e.g. "GLIAWVA" or "FMAAWUV" and so on. There is a conditional clause so that sometime it selects a secondary, sometimes it drops the secondary for an extra item. You get the idea. What I do is run the script which saves to "random.cfg" before I start Urban Terror, then random.cfg runs as part of my autoexec and hey presto, a random loadout for the day.


It just struck me that you could maybe do this using Urban Terror client and therefore have a bind that produces a random loadout? I don't know if this is true cos I am a bit of a config newb. Anyone got any idea how I could do this?

random loadouts really help my game btw. I have found Nade Launcher, Shotgun, Beretta, Helmet and Laser to be unexpectedly effective. I never would have tried this otherwise.  I added the loadout to my regular setup!
