ok so i have downloaded 27's q3map2 and have been using that for a while and all of a sudden the build process uses NO cpu or very little and takes over 15 minutes to build somethign that used to take 2-7 minutes. my question is: is there a command ( for instance -threads) to make the process use more cpu and make it go faster?

-threads <number of threads Q3Map2 should use>
Specifies a number of threads to use during compiling. On Windows, Q3Map2 automatically detects the number of CPUs present, and sets the threadcount accordingly. The -threads switch can be used to override this behavior.
Linux users will need to manually set -threads in order to activate SMP support in Q3Map2.
hm...
give -light -lomem for try?
Trades increased compile time for decreased memory usage.
guess i am waaaay off here, just two shots into the dark. give your system specs and what you did change?
