Does anyone know of some good tuts on enabling multiple game types in the same map? (specific to Urban Terror, using the info_ut_spawn and the g_gametype attribute)
I am trying to enable the same map for:
CTF, CAH, TDM, BOMB, SURVIVOR and possibly FFA
Specifically, I'm having trouble using specific sets of spawn points for CTF, and different set for BOMB, and yet another for the other team game types (I thought I could control which spawn points were used for different game types based on the g_gametype setting attached to the info_ut_spawn entities. This is not working)

Make sure you give each info_ut_spawn a team key with value either red or blue
Apart from that make sure you have the right gamemode set

I was very careful about that, this is what i did:
created a map with 4 rooms,
in one room created:
a set of info_ut_spawn with team=red and group=red1 and g_gametype=3,4,6,7
a set of info_ut_spawn with team=red and group=bombred and g_gametype=8
in another room created:
a set of info_ut_spawn with team=blue and group=blue1 and g_gametype=3,4,6,7
a set of info_ut_spawn with team=blue and group=bombblue and g_gametype=8
and in each room created an info_ut_spawn with no team or group, but g_gametype=0 set
Of course I have placed 2 info_ut_bombsite, one team_cah_capturepoint, one team_ctf_redflag, one team_ctf_blueflag
The map also has one info_player_deathmatch
When I attempt to use the map for all game types, this is what happens:
g_gametype = 0: player spawns at the info_player_deathmatch, not any of the info_ut_spawns with g_gametype=0
g_gametype = 3: seems to work
g_gametype = 4: seems to work
g_gametype = 6: seems to work
g_gametype = 7: seems to work
g_gametype = 8: player (red or blue) initially spawns at the info_player_deathmatch, but if the player re-joins the team or joins the other team, the player then spawns from one of the correct g_gametype=8 info_ut_spawn points
Any ideas ?

For FFA use either info_player_deathmatch or info_player_start spawns.
The group keys need to have the same value even if the teams are different. See the infomation in the urbanterror.def for a lengthy explanation.
Try This:
About bombmode, Ive seen players spawn at info_player_start/deathmatch spawns during warmup but never in game so its not really a problem.
