I still can't get Urban textures to show up in Radiant... Rate Topic: -----

I followed these instructions

and thought I got it right. I can use the Q3 textures. I downloaded the .def file from ut map depot as well.

Hi MeNoPaUsE,

You need to make sure the "shaderlist.txt" file is in your Q3UT3/Scripts folder. If it isn't there, then you won't be able to see any urban terror textures.

If you have any problems still, just reply to this and I'll try and help you out as much as I can.

I have the shaderlist.txt file but it might be the wrong one. This is what it's comprised of.

The only files I have in my q3ut3/scripts folder are shaderlist.txt, allbsps.shader and urbanterror.def

What am I doing wrong???

Make sure that when you open up GTK radiant you have Textures/Shaderlist only unticked.

If you have that one ticked it only shows Q3/UrT textures.

To be on the save side tick Show shaders.

And for a test you can tick Show All as well.

In my texture list I even have urban_terror listed but when I try to load those textures i get this response from radiant:

Loaded 0 shaders and created default shader for 0 orphan textures.

??? I have tried show all btw ???

The only thing I can think of if you've done all the stuff we've recommended, is that you didn't follow the tutorial on my site very carefully. You've probably selected the wrong folder when setting up the project settings.

Do us a favor... take a screenshot of your Project Settings window in Gtk and post it here on the forums or email to me.

Already sent him an email with a screenshot of my project settings so he knows how it's supposed to look. This should solve his problem.
