I just noticed the antiwarping comman for server.cfg's. Does this work?
I setup a server on my machine so my friend and I can practice, I don't warp to him, but he warps in my view and his ping is only 50. Anything we can do to make him run smoother?

Antiwarp basically turns warps into packetloss. So, if someone is warping a lot, when you turn it on, they won't be able to move. For more info on how antiwarp works, read 27's post here: http://www.forums.ur...hlight=antiwarp

stepping really doesnt matter, as the ping flux has the biggest effect on the packetloss, and hence the antiwarp. 50 is too agressive for some clients, so a 60 or 75 might be better.
it was under serious consideration in sta and 60 was decided to be the best compromise.

twentyseven said a while ago to make it higher using steps of 50.. so I dunno about 60...
But then I asked him if there was some significance to that in terms of how antiwarp works and he said no, he just didn't think people should bother tweaking at smaller increments. But I have had people complain about 50, but found 80 to be just fine.
