Hi

I'm trying to set up a dedicated server on a mac in our home. The mac is a powerbook g3 500mhz with 128mb of ram and it's running mac os x panther 10.3.3, with no firewall or anything like that.

It starts up fine and loads everything, but when I open "play online" on a client machine, it stops, saying its a bus error or something.

I'm no unix hacker, so I need some help here.

I could take a look for you but I need access I am not sure of the problem by just what you have said above.

128MB is the minimum for OSX in general. You need to upgrade your memory. I don't know if that will solve your bus error issue. I would post this in the mac help area. Hornet may know something about setting up a server.

As for myself. I am an Apple Certified Tech with a PC at home. Go figure. hehehe
