Hi

I have try Urban terror and i like it. But there are nearly none maps avaible
on urban terror (if you have just installed it). Switching to several
servers to get some map is very plodding.
I know there are some FTP / HTTP Servers where i can get some maps;
but clicking on every single map isn't any better.

I did'nt find any statement map packs aren't allowed here;
but nonetheless I haven't found any map pack here?


Are map packs disallowed ? Or did nobody had fun on making one?
Perhaps i should make someone self ? Do i have to ask every single author
of a map ?

I think you need to search harder. Try to search for some "ut4_custommap.pk3" maps, eventually you'll find severs providing the complete maps for download via HTTP. That way I found > 300 maps; just be sensible when downloading and don't hammer the serers; you can wait, there's nothing to loose.

If your problem is that you found an FTP or HTTP with clean directories of map lists and you don't want to click each, there are easy solutions on software. e.g. 'wget' command line tool to mirror whole dirs.

Well in my map depot there is easy solution to get all maps by that author you're browsing.

Autoindex has tar.gz support so its easily pack induviduals to one easy zip

So in 4 clicks u get 19 Maps :)

Or if you want to click em seperated pls visit: http://urtmaps.prkl.org and select preferred mapper :D and you have option to download just map you want.
