I am - I'm going to try to build winchester cathedral external.
It might be a bit ambitious though.

I wanted to say this is a great way to support the mod in whole, by partitioning the competition into distinct building block categories that can be used by anyone in maps, provided they give their permission. I wanted to post this in a general thread about it but there wasn't any so this will do.
In particular it could support Bump Mapping a lot for 4.2 like those amazing textures on the aluminum walkway on moonbase.

I've started on a cathedral interior already, so I'll be putting something up for that one.
The tree one I might do if I have time and any inspiration strikes - but it seems like something that would be easier/more appropriate as an MD3 import from a 3D modelling tool, and so far I've found Blender to be pretty unfriendly, and I haven't found anything else that is both free and good. I find it very difficult to keep multi-part, multi-angled objects pieces of any detail coherent when modelling them right in Radiant.
The texturing/decal ones I most likley won't do, since I'm more technical than artistic. My texturing process is typically just Google > Crop > Resize > Use. I can get wrapped up in writing a shader, but usually the underlying texture work is very basic.

I would try one or two of them, but I'm too busy with my 3D animation course (which I fully intend to put to good use in Urban Terror once I finish this course, and the 2 year game development course afterwards).
