"You're full of shit Null"

I never said that.

It's probably some tiny ridiculous map where you throw bombs over a wall (judging by the name) stuck in a box.

Right that! very fun to play! Many players like it :))

It's something you don't even bother asking ...

You must be a bad professor... it s just like saying "there is no reason you don't know".

The solution is to cap off all exposed areas with their own skybox or caulk, it's pretty simple. The ironic thing is that I learned that solution from a post that NulL made

And finaly... an answer!! thank you icarebecauseyoudo. I will try this!

By the way, the Pandora map is very, very beautifful, what is very rare in urban terror maps. Only few mappers know how to texture a map. Horse AF is one them. I hate classics urban terror maps like Uptown or Casa with that non-sens colors and absurd textures even if they are very well design to play.

Hell yeah make blocky map, use 1024x1024 resolution textures everywhere, and it will be awesome (and laggy as hell) map

I am not speaking about BIG textures, just beautifull ones. The problem here is many people like Rav3n don't care about graphism, maybe arn't player at all, just geek mappers, happy to check out datas instead of playing. I never been affected by low fps on horse AF maps and his maps are play so often online so it seem only you disagree.

2 worlds: coders vs artits, once again :)

Even if you're being artistic with your map design you need to think about function and how it will play for everyone else. There's absolutely no reason to be an auteurist mapper, unless you want to be the only person playing them ;)

totally agree with that. I didn't mean "be an auteurist mapper", that would be stupid :).Just mean to find a balance betwneen beautifull texture and lighting AND optimal conception. Some people here seems to judge map only about the fps. Sorry if some people be offended by my first reply, but for non professional mappers, reading technical critics with no solution given is just non sense.

Are we going to see any updates on this map? It has some hinting problems and INSANE gameplay in Team Survivor.

Frozen Sand is pleased to announce that Skaz has joined the development team !

Skaz will start by remaking some of the current official maps. Maps such as Turnpike and Abbey. These maps will be made from scratch for Urban Terror HD with optimized visual quality to fit with the new graphics engine. Skaz is used to working with GTKRadiant and of course his imagination.

Please feel free to comment in our forum.

I think Beijing, Turnpike, Abbey, etc. will have a higher priority on his list, and considering the high quality standards of FS-HD maps, and the popularity of this maps in 4.1 he will have a hell of a job to satisfy FS and the community, especially the competitive scene.

So in short, you better send him a time machine for opening another version of Pandora. ;-)

Skaz is one good and quick mapper, wouldn't be surprised if he's already finished the remakes :P
