Circular stairway tool Rate Topic: -----

Updated to also do: regular stairs and basic rails, arcs, and holes.

I built a little app to create circular stairways for a map I was working on, and despite not being a programmer it seems to be pretty stable, so I figured I'd put it out there in case anyone else could find a use for it.

It's a single Windows executable that generates a .map file that can be imported, the only big pre-req should be having the .NET 2.0 framework installed.

Update: In case you don't care to read through the end of the thread, this tool now does normal staircases and has some support for basic railing/bannisters.

Update #2: I found myself wanting to make arcs and holes, so support for those are built in now as well (you can think of an arc like a stone arch, and a hole like a bevel + cap, except made out of brushes instead of patch meshes.)

Thx a lot mate, dunno if it's about coincidence or what, but i was trying to make such a stairway last night in my map :]
Haven't been able to get a suitable result, so im gonna try your tool right now.

Good news about wine, I wish I knew enough to write something cross-platform in the first place (or a Radiant plug-in,) but I'm happy the linux guys have some way to make use of it if they want in spite of my limited skillset

Argh, why couldn't you have made this 2 months back lol. I spent a good half hour getting the stairs in my lighthouse set up. Looks awesome man, good work.
