I've made foghull on map, it works and looks good, but surfaces with alpha channel (windows, icicles and smoke) looks like that:

Posted Image

Window shader:

textures/coldwar/window
{
        qer_editorimage textures/coldwar/vv_window.tga
        cull none
	{
	        map textures/effects/tinfx.tga
	        blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ONE
	        tcgen environment
	}
	{
             	map textures/coldwar/vv_window.tga
	        alphaFunc GE128
	}
	{
	        map $lightmap rgbGen identity blendFunc filter
	}
}

Its possible to make shader with transparency, that looks "correctly" in fog?

What about that winter map nobody likes....i can't remember the name of it. Anyway that map used fog, can't you decompile or whatever the heck you do with it and take a look at the shader used in it? Maybe you can find something useful...what was the name of that map...

ut4_blizzard? This map have windows that looks correctly with fog, but its made with simple glass, frames are made with brushes. Well, if its impossible to modify my shader i will just made windows like on this map

Yeah that's the one. I'm not a shader expert but my guess is you have blend_func on both shaders and they're reacting to each other.

Some shaders just don't fog at all, I don't have much experience with q3 fog, so I can't really tell you how to fix it; just try changing the shaders until they work, or drop q3 fog all together and use glsl fog included with the bumpy engine, its not perfect itself, but it does a much better job than the hacky old q3 fog.

PS. Dense fog really doesn't work well with with urt's game play because the goggles can see straight through the fog.

How do you use glsl fog? because I'm planning to have fog in my map too, but fog seems to screw up the bumpy effects
