I currently have 1 scenario with this exe where it wont load the default config (q3config.cfg) at startup.

the reason i can tell this is 2 reasons.

1.) in my config I set music volume to 0, however when the game loads I hear the music loud and clear, in the settings menu the slider is at the halfway mark. Issuing /exec q3config.cfg after the game loads disables music and the slider is at the bottom end.


2.) In my config at the very end I have it echo "config loaded successfully" to show in console when the config was finished loading. but when I launch the game the console does not have this message.


apart from that everything else seems fine right now,

P.S. is it possible to look at integrating perhaps the workings of TwentySeven, for things like r_SimpleShaders for better engine performace and r_Motionblur for new motionblur effects to enhance the game.

I am still experiencing this bug with my config, has p5c0runn3r stop working on this or is it still being updated, because I for one would love to see this bug fixed.

I take it from the lack of responses that dmaHD is now inactive/dead now ...

Well, I never had problems with dmaHD after the last update. I would not say dead as I still play Urban Terror now and then. I will look into the problems you said as soon as I have some time but to include the changes of twentyseven for sure not. The reason is that dmaHD was dropped by FS as a viable sound system for Urban Terror, so there is no reason to continue on it.

I understand were your coming from, but dont you think it would be nice to have 27's performance tweaks as a compliment to the extra sound benefits to have a well polished final exe that could be used until HD eventually comes out.

If not would you ever consider making it opensource for others to continue the work (I am not very optimistic about urtHD coming out before 2020 :P)

the +vstr bug I could live with but it would be nice to have a fix for this.

The reson why I use dmaHD over other executables like ioq3-urt from mitsu is because its lean, it doesnt have a million options available to display fps stats in 50 different formats or builtin alarms or translators.

It only includes benefits for performance and league use and I believe r_simpleshaders 1 would be a fantastic addition to help those that need that extra FPS ingame.

I understand what you are saying, but, the 'bumpy' version of twentyseven seems unstable at least the last one that was available for download. The reason of this executable was for competition purposes, where players needed the original version of the game while having that extra edge in sound. dmaHD is open source, check out mitsubishi builds for the source. I'm fixing the vstr bug as we speak.

thats great p5yc0, how hard would it be to compile a custom build that included the 27 bumpy changes seperate from the main dmaHD.exe?
