But woody hes speaking about fps.
@topic
On some servers (smoke nades, amount of players. Shooting and stuff) the fps lag is very random. Try to start local server and watch how your fps reacts. If its not jumpy, its sure just random fps lag. I get stable 125 fps on a 18 player bomb server but in 32 player uptown ctf i get 40~ fps. I have learned to live with it.

I do experience fps drops because of the connection.
I have a decent connection,a decent ping on EU servers,but on some servers hosted in US,where my ping is 150-200,my fps rate sometimes drops from 70-125 to 20-30 for a few seconds,then comes back up.
So i thought he might have the same issue.

That kind of problem apears too but randomly for some. I have had problems where my ping jump between 0 and 999 and that haves impact to fps. Fps is about 3.
What i think is that urt 4.1 build is soooo old that it haves some problems with current hardware. I should try different builds tho.
So they dont have direct connection (fps and ping.... Unless its epic motherboard failure) but somekind of link.

@woody
I have a pretty good connection (20 Mb ) and I dont use wireless :) I always try to join in a server where I have a lot of fun and my setting too :)
@ thewonderboy
totalli agree but my clans mate have a stable 125 fps on full server :( with useless hardware against me :)
@ mitsubishi
That happen when I run or jump for example.
I read that guide
http://www.www0.org/...to_Urban_Terror
and I find it really usefull
I tried to use that guide
http://www.www0.org/..._engine_for_urt
but
Linux:
* extract file(s) in urt's bin dir (tar jxpvf in console or with a manager).
* run ./ioq3-urt (if it's not executable, chmod +x)
and sorry my noob question but ... where's the urt's bin dir ? xD
I tried to set the affinity with scheedtool too :)
Thank guys for your answer :)
Where I can find some information about how to set nvidia for UrT ?

it's where ioUrbanTerror binary is, e.g. /usr/local games, where you put it when installed it/unzipped the zip.

Well its obvious that im not a computer wizard like mitsu but for first aid.
Your default cfg file was not loaded for some reason. With "for some" is that its not always what the console says to us. Some possible reasons:
-your download was corrupted (very unlikely)
-your file is corrupted (still wouldnt believe that true)
-you have extracted something to wrong place.
-somethings preventing the load of default.cfg
cant actualy help you but i think some might be the reason.
