You pretty much have to search down a copy in the store. Activision used to sell q3 online, not sure if they still do or not.

Check with any video game stores that sell pre-played pc games.

I have bought 3 copies of quake 3 for friends for 5 - 10 bucks each from Electronics Boutique

Btw, why doesnt ID or Activision doesnt sell keys online? That way you dont have to bother with sending packages and stuff. All you need is a key anywayz, you can get the files like everywhere for free =P
