Hi,

I've tried to follow the instructions given on the homepage: http://www.urbanterr...nfo/news/home/.
But for some unknown reason it doesn't work with my version??

I'm not that technical, i only like to play Urban Terror a lot.
So, if someone can tell me step by step what i have to do, i'm veru thankfull!

Your version might be based on a recent version of ioquake3 that a distribution uses which has cl_master removed [and uses sv_master1 which urt overrides to .net].

They said the issue should be fixed automatically in a couple of hours.

If you're in a hurry, try another binary such as the one of my signature or the original .zip's, or, use this hax to hijack the resolving completely:

open /etc/hosts as root
add in it:
91.121.24.62 master.urbanterror.net


This is a dangerous solution since if they change their IP it will break.

I really don't know what ur talking about but what u said of fixing the problem within a couple of hours...I'm waiting for a few days now to get access to a server for downloading the maps.

I've got my copy of Urban Terror from Getdeb.net.

According to the front page, "The people hosting our .net DNS have updated the records to fix this. Please wait 12 hours before asking for support. After this time, the problem will be fixed. 02:30 GMT 5th December 2010, RaideR" [..] in one and a half hour? probably.

12 hours?? Then it is a very very long 12 hours since i'm waiting for a few days!!!
The problem occured last wednesday.....

I'll wait till tomorrow. If it doesn't work then, bye bye Urban Terror.
And Tremoluos is not a game for me, i'll get sick from it. For some reason's i'll get sick from it, looks like seasickness but i get headaches and dizzy and i feel sick. Problems i don't have when i'm playing urban terror.
