@Txc: Just wait and see I'm pretty sure he can rock. ;-)
The first part would fit nice as background music in maps
and the second sounds like an intro to me not like an mainmenu loop.
So welcome on board Unifiedtone.

Why a nickname ? Why don't you simply say you recruited John Williams ? :)
The symphonic passage would be an epic awasome music for a video trailer used to create a HUUUGE buzz on the internet juste before the release of UrT HD that would be presented as the greatest free2play FPS EVERRRR.
Welcome on board dude. :)

Hello, welcome, and thanks for contributing to this awesome community we all love!
That first beat sounds right at home for UT. I've always noticed and appreciated the low-key, ambient music that UT has. It definitely adds to the feel of the game and gives it a unique feel. Perhaps main reason is that it seem to be environmentally driven, not background "theme" music. The second song isn't bad either, but it does seem to veer too far towards the Duke Nukem type sound. Just my opinion. :) All good stuff and I'm excited to hear some of it in-game soon!

We're also being careful to make sure it doesn't stomp all over the gameplay sounds.

Welcome music is very important to every game that has even little ballzz.
i hope you can keep up same quality (not style. @those who didnt understand) as ID sofwares did with every quake and many doom's
