Hi,

On some cases Ut downloads maps to my computer. But when i'm searching for it later on, i can't find them strabgely. Can someone tell me where UT downloads the maps? And is it the same map where i can put manually downloaded files too?

Many thanks!

in your homedirectory theres a folder called .q3a which contains the folder q3ut4. this is where the maps go, no matter, if you download automatically or manually.
.q3a is a hidden folder, most filebrowsers show hidden folders and files with ctrl + H.

Depends on the OS you're using.

  • Linux: ~/.q3a/q3ut4/ (as Jimmyjazz already said)
  • OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Quake3/q3ut4/
  • Windows: Sorry, can't help you there.

They will also work if they are put in q3ut4 of the binary directory.

I'm using Ubuntu and no, there's no .q3a directory in my /home directory!
Why is that?

You mean in the /usr/share/games/urbanterror/q3ut4 directory??
Cause in this directory i have 2 .pk3 files:
-zpak000.pk3
-zpak000_assets.pk3

Or do you mean another directory?
