SOLUTION FOUND

It turned out, that Linux creates incomatible zip files with UrT. After compressing with winzip, pk3 file is loaded correctly.

Hello

I have created my first map - room to be precise.
Following Delirium's tutorial.
Now, I have packaged it
http://gotdelirium.c...kaging_Your_Map

But UrT doesn't 'see' this map. I can't even load it through commandline. This is my .pk3
http://www.speedysha...mieszkanie1.pk3

Anybody could help me? I can't find working solution.

Arch Linux 32bit here, Radiant 1.6.2

Make sure the .pk3 is in the right place.
Make sure you restarted urt.
Make sure the bsp and pk3 name are the same (if I remember correctly)

/devmap mapname

They was the only things that troubled me and stuff when I dabbled in map/jump making a year or so ago.

Ps. *Arch Linux brofist*

Just took a look...

Works fine for me. I loaded up UrT and did /devmap mieszkanie1 in the console. You *are* loading the BSP name and not the pk3 name, yes?

Pk3 name does not matter at all.

Ps: arch is evil

You need a .arena file in the scripts folder of your .pk3 file to see it show up in the game selection menu. Open up another .pk3 file to see an example of the format. The name of the .pk3 must match the .arena file.

Okay.

ut4_insidejob.pk3 contains
maps/ut4_insidejob.bsp
maps/ut4_insidejob.tga
maps/ut4_insidejob.arena

/textures

And UrT still doesn't "see" in console my map. That's make me sad panda :(
