Urban Terror 4.1 fresh install from .zip

OK so I downloaded the game, extracted the UrbanTerror folder to the Desktop, and set the i386 as executable. I double click it to run it and get the "Cannot run in screen resolution" thing. My max res is 1440x900.
I've been looking online and found some threads and the FAQ saying to adjust the q3config.cfg file. Problem is, I don't have this file lol. I can't find it and I've searched my HDD for it with no results.
Does anyone know how to change the resolution of this game so that I can get it running?
