Hi recently re downloaded Urban Terror for mac again at it opens like it normally does. But every time i join any server it just loops the audio for 2 seconds then just closes. My mac gives me no error message or anything and i tried re downloading it from different sources opening it with different unarchivers and deleted the quake 3 folder in application support. I have done everything i can think of and i still can't find out what is wrong. I am running the latest version of snow leopard on a 13 late 2008 macbook. It has a gma 3100 graphic card and 4 gigs of ram

1. download (make sure its .zip not .exe)
1.1.Unzip the zip file (not with stuffit...right clic then "open with ArchiveUtility.app)
2. Move the resulting folder to Applications
3. In the "Terminal" application type:

chmod +x /Applications/UrbanTerror/ioUrbanTerror.app/Contents/MacOS/ioUrbanTerror.ub

4. Put this in your autoexec.cfg:

seta cl_cURLLib libcurl.dylib

Hey thanks it worked but what was that terminal command supposed to do just wandering.

chmod => change mode
+ => add mode
x => executable

chmod +x => makes the specified file executable (runnable as a program)
